I highly recommend that you book this stay. The place is clean and safe, price is reasonable, William is a very good host who genuinely makes sure that you are okay and that everything is allright for you, is very helpful and responds very promptly to your requests.

William is a great host and managed to hold down an affordable rental rate, amazing for central Sunderland so wherever you need to be in Sunderland this is a perfect location simply because you are down the road from the bus station so you can easily get a bus or metro as needed to Newcastle or anywhere else, and great to roll back home if you wanted late night cinema or drinks. This is beyond just a room, but everything you want to hand including kitchen with access to shared bathroom, toilet and laundry facilities. And it is a tight ship. All communal areas regularly cleaned, and even on my first day I complained on a dripping tap that I knew would drive me crazy, the landlord fixed same day as he came to meet me and see if I am OK. And the room itself is cosy and warm. The laundry is very cheap with was per token but even the paid service Is a benefit as you don't seem to get people hogging a machine to wash a shirt or something stupid like you do in shared houses.
