My family and I had an amazing stay here! The home was very beautiful and comfortable, the views of Moosehead Lake (especially at sunset) from the deck and balcony were gorgeous, and the whole property and neighborhood were very private and serene. One of the highlights of our stay here was getting to feed all of the friendly deer that would come up to the backyard and "hang out." We were also fortunate to be able to see the total solar eclipse from the deck and enjoy the beauty of the snowy woods around the home. (We "lucked out" in that we arrived after a snowstorm but then experienced days of clear and chilly weather afterward for exploring.) Deane was also a friendly host, very responsive to questions and helpful with local recommendations and other ideas for enjoying our stay. Check in and check out was straightforward and easy, and Deane was very accomodating with allowing us to have a later check out time. We all had a wonderful time here and hope to stay here again. Very spacious cabin, with many board games, cozy fire place and beautiful kitchen. Very comfortable space in a beautiful location. Highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in staying in the Moosehead area.
