Deep in the heart of Norfolk this much loved holiday home is an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy life. WOODLANDS is a modern cottage with traditional touches, it has large light-filled living spaces and comfortable bedrooms. Ideal for families as well as couples wanting a little more space or friends looking to relax and unwind. Woodland walks and cycle rides are on your doorstep and a wood burner ensures you'll be cosy on cooler nights. Well behaved dogs welcome (2 max). This little piece of Norfolk heaven, The Plantation, is so-called because it is positioned in an oak wood planted by the owner's great-grandfather over 100 years ago. WOODLANDS is the self-contained holiday cottage and makes up half of a spacious barn-style building (the other cottage is not rented out but sometimes used by the owner's family). The cottage has a light-filled, well equipped kitchen and a large yet comfortable living room with a wood burning stove (we provide a complementary basket of logs for guests in the colder months). The property has central heating & underfloor heating (downstairs). There are two large bedrooms upstairs - the larger room can have either a Superking bed or Two singles (just let us know when booking) the other bedroom has a Kingsize bed with en-suite. There is a family bathroom next to the larger bedroom which has a bath with an over-bath shower and the en-suite has a good sized separate shower. All our guests are free to venture and wander in the woods and we welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs. The cottage is only 5 miles from the bustling market town of Swaffham with a great Saturday market and a few minutes drive to the beautiful Oxborough Hall (National Trust). WOODLANDS is the perfect location to enjoy the very best of the English countryside.
