When i arrived i found a stagnant smell from the living room furniture. I found a used razor in the bathroom, a car window wiper hanging from the top of the wardrobe, cob webs around the bedroom, no main light ( bulbs required replacing)on the walls on the bed as well as in the lounge. When i went to lay on the bed it was noticeable the mattress required replacement with the springs coming through the mattress, as well as the blinds in the lounge not closing therefore my privacy and dignity was not taken into account. I contacted to Graham and he come round immediately and removed the razor, Graham was aware of the blinds and no main light in the bedroom and still found it acceptable to rent. I informed Graham i have no option but to stay the night due to the lateness i arrived, i cancelled the following night and found an hotel. Graham refused to refund the first night and found it was acceptable to rent a place in this condition. First time i had had to publish poor review.

It was a nice stay, Graham the host was welcoming and met me when I arrived. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The only negative was the parking could be tight when other guests were in the other accommodation. But I enjoyed my short stay and would stay there again

Booked at very short notice for my son that needed some "head space" Very comfortable and well equipped. A perfect little break and stunning location. Will definitely be booking for myself and a pooch 🐶

Whilst the location and cottage itself was lovely, it was very dirty. The sofa was caked with food, kitchen was greasy, dishes were unusable, floors were sticky and bathroom wasn’t clean. The bedding and towels were clean. We arrived late in the day with our baby, but requested cleaning the next morning. When we arrived back that night it wasn’t much cleaner. We left the next morning. Disappointing really as it seems like a lovely spot but it doesn’t seem to be well looked after or a priority for the hosts. We didn’t even get an apology from the host. Aside from the basics, the pictures don’t match the Airbnb. All the outdoor furniture is weathered or broken. No hot tub in sight, if this is something that appeals to you! The place just seems neglected which is an awful shame as I can see previous reviews are positive. The lady looking after the place while hosts were away was very nice, the responsibility of this falls on the hosts.
