We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Hernan, Lineth and Hilda. We appreciate the responsiveness and welcome. Breakfast from Hilda was excellent. Highly recommend if you get the chance to have it! The bed was comfortable. There are plenty of places to sit and relax to enjoy the peaceful settings and views. The location is off the beaten path in peaceful small community. We had everything we needed to cook a nice meal (the small stove was a little challenging, but better than nothing!). Saw lots of birds and a few monkeys in the morning from the porch. It did get hot during the day while we were gone and couldn't leave windows open because there are no screens, but the breeze is excellent if you can open the windows while you are at the cabin. we hope to return someday and enjoy more of the activities offered by Hernan. We also had a dog strangely barking outside the gate in the middle of the night that we had to shoo away after it didn't stop.

This is a great place to stay if you want isolation for the duration. Beautiful sunsets, lovely cottage, well maintained. Rent a good quality 4X4. The Papagayo winds were exceptionally strong and kept us awake overnight- not usual for April. Unable to use local cook due to diabetes issues and language barrier for diet needs.

I can't describe how I feel in a better way than saying that I am regenerated after my stay at the cabanita. This place is really special, high vibes, beauty, contemplation… I could'nt dream of a better nest to nourrish myself, come back to life ! I am So GRATEFUL 🙏🏻 Thank you Hernan, Lyneth and Dionisia. You made my heart full.

this place is a little bit of a trek from nearby town, but it's worth the effort. I had beautiful long range views on both sides, secluded enough to be in the middle of active wildlife (howler monkeys, all kinds of birds), and the neighbors are friendly and offer good food and activities to explore the local area.

We loved our stay here. It is very remote and peaceful. The scenery is gorgeous! The best part of our stay was the horseback ride with Carlos. He took us up into the beautiful countryside with views of the volcano and other natural wonders. We ended our ride on a road where howler monkeys were swinging in the trees. Be sure to get the meals from Hilda. She is an awesome cook and it was nice to eat authentic food on our first couple days. Wonderful start to our vacation.
