We had the most amazing stay at this stunning mountain house. The hosts were simply fantastic - friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The views were absolutely breathtaking, with 360-degree panoramas of the surrounding peaks and valleys that left us speechless. The house itself was beautifully designed and immaculately kept, with all the amenities we could ask for and more. We particularly loved the cozy fireplace, perfect for curling up with a book and enjoying the warmth after a day of hiking in the mountains. Overall, I totally recommend this place - it truly was a perfect stay in every way, and we can't wait to come back again soon. Thank you

Please read the full review before making a decision. The property is in a lovely valley with magnificent views from the kitchen window of the hills. The property as listed is the old school house and as such is very quirky and retains some of theold features. Staying here you can really imagine life in the valley many years ago. Unfortunately like a previous review we experienced mice in the property. Overnight they were active. Unfortunately my wife is scared of mice which was a problem but we thought we could overcome this for a short stay. However the next morning we saw one running over the work surface and we decided that the mice problem was bigger than we thought. We told Bridget that we can no longer stay in the property and she was horrified to the extent of the mouse problem offering to find us other accommodation. We were given a full refund of the money Bridget receives and are now chasing Airbnb for their service fee as we rebooked with them. Bridget said she will cancel subsiquent bookings and take the property off the market until the issue is solved. We checked later and we could not find it listed. I think Bridget will solve the problem and hopefully then people can experience the property and valley again

Charming cottage with beautiful views, everything was perfect. We loved the sheep at the kitchen window when looking out across the valley. We would love to stay again.

We have mixed feelings about our stay in the schoolhouse. To start with the positive: You can‘t beat the location, great views, huge garden and very private. Well equipped kitchen. Bridget was super helpful with providing hiking Tipps and is a very nice person and a great communicator. We have a bit struggled with the following: You are sharing the house with mice and you can very well hear and see them at night. We had to remove one dead mouse from mousetrap. There are thousands of flies in the house, dead and alive ones. There are just 2 doors in the House: front door and toilet door. Both bedrooms don‘t have doors, so not very private and a challenge with a baby. One bedroom is more or less part of the living room. For us, the house was a bit to messy with a lot of stuff from the owners and a bad smell from some of the cupboards.
