We absolutely loved our stay at Jacque and David’s home. They were so welcoming as hosts and we really enjoyed talking with them and learning about the home. The home itself was beautiful and so full of charm. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The grounds around the home were beautiful. We will definitely look here to stay in the future!

Jacque and David were great hosts, we really enjoyed chatting with them. Their country estate is so lovely, plenty of area to walk around or sit out by the patio. Truly a beautiful property and our rooms were impeccably decorated. So many loving touches all around.

Our stay was perfect and such a shame it was just one night. Jacque and David were great hosts, very welcoming and the little studio was beautifully fitted out and very comfortable. The three furry girls were were an added bonus!

The first time we went to this area, we stayed here. We liked it so much that when we were going to be back in the area 9 months later, it was not a question where we wanted to stay—at Jacque and David’s! You could not meet nicer people; what I really like is how they are down to earth! Both Jacque and David gave us great suggestions as to where to go—we didn’t get to all of them but I actually wrote them down for next time. We feel like we have friends in Alabama. The house is so incredible—I could go on and on—but it is Jacque and David that make it all come to life.

When we arrived, Jacque met us in the driveway. We had communicated via text because we were running later than anticipated because of traffic/construction so she must have been keeping an eye out for us. She told us our reserved room in the home was not available (see next sentence) but showed us a room above the garage (?) and it was wonderful. She was in a situation because the guest before us became ill while there, and Jacque so kindly allowed her to stay. We were lucky there was a place for us but I have no doubt, given Jacque's personality, that even if she didn't have room, she would have found us someplace nice. And I can only imagine how grateful the woman was who was ill and didn't have to leave/find another place. Jacque and her husband, David, are wonderful hosts ... kind, generous and happy to share good places to eat and to see in the area. Location is very close to FAME Studio and Helen Keller's birthplace, both of which were our reasons to be there.
