This was a great stay through and through! The inside of the cabin felt so comfortable and had such large windows looking out at the beautiful, frozen lake. We had a couple of issues that I reached out to Matthew and Christine about and they were helpful and quick to respond! If you come in the winter like we did, definitely drive a vehicle with 4wd; It was very helpful on the private road. Definitely recommend staying here!

If you are looking for a peaceful, hassle free getaway- this is the right place! It is incredibly peaceful, clean, and the hosts are friendly and responsive! We are originally from the area and moved south a few years ago. We came home to visit friends and enjoy the Maine winter- this home was the perfect spot to do just that! We enjoyed the sunsets over the pond, the peace and quiet, and the privacy. Absolutely recommend!

Had a very peaceful stay at the cabin! Found the site easily due to the check in instructions. The lake was the absolute highlight of the stay! My sister and I highly enjoyed the kayaks provided and were able to spot loons and the occasional bald eagle while at the cabin/on the lake. I was also able to fish the lake and was able to catch perch and some very large smallmouth bass. I would highly recommend this place and the hosts and plan on coming back soon!

Such a gem of a lake house. Could not have had a more relaxing and peaceful stay. Highly recommend this place if you want to watch the eagles, listen to the loons and just detach for a days.
