Our hosts were beyond amazing and accommodating. The location was perfect and the bed was beyond comfy!! I highly recommend this BnB…. Best off grid stay I’ve ever had!!! The “dessert” brought a welcomed good nights sleep!!

This was our second time staying at Shana and Crash's beautiful cabin, and I can confidently say it was the second time of many more to come! My partner Bill and I are hoping to make these trips an annual tradition. The cabin itself is pristine and peaceful, with lots of nature books and games to play for rainy days. We were able to get some stargazing in from two gravity chairs that we used throughout our stay, and the updated camp kitchen worked wonders, even in inclement weather. Thank you Shana and Crash for yet another beautiful time in Hartford!!!

We were on this trip for some much needed relaxation. Shana, Crash, and this beautiful little cabin made this one of the best get-aways we have ever taken. The first day was sunny and warm, and the sky was incredibly clear. There is no light pollution anywhere nearby at all. During our second day it rained, but the covered outdoor area was plenty of protection while we cooked and relaxed. We made steak on the open fire grill, bread and other sides on the propane burners. Everything we needed was right at hand. Shana and Crash were super generous, kind, and fun to be around. We generally stayed in our quiet spot, but had a fun hour touring the farm with them. The flower was out of this world, too!

As soon as we parked at The Landing, we knew this stay would be special. Shana greeted us enthusiastically upon our arrival and pushed a wheelbarrow of our items down a short and scenic path to the cabin. That's where we found a special stash of farm-grown delicacies waiting for us, thanks to her and Crash and their gorgeous homestead. The gifts just kept coming, with delicious banana raspberry bread the next morning and farm fresh eggs on our final day. We were provided a guest pass to the local beach, which was nearly empty and extremely peaceful, and we had a blast cooking over the fire pit and stargazing for hours. We HIGHLY recommend this stay for anyone who likes to eat, relax, and unplug their minds for a bit... definitely the reset that we both needed. Thank you Shana and Crash!!!

Shana and Crash were phenomenal hosts. From the communication, to the homemade raspberry muffins in the morning, to the farm tour- this team of homesteaders shined. They put their hearts and souls into the land and it shows. We had a wonderful time taking in nature, sitting next to the fire, and enjoying fresh meals prepared in the outdoor kitchen- not to mention the delicious green beans, eggs, and garlic from their farm. We all slept like babies, swam like fish, and ate like queens. It was just what we needed- to step away from the daily grind of work and being moms, and jump into relaxation and sisterhood. We can’t thank Shana and Crash enough for a memorable weekend in the woods. We look forward to coming back very soon.
