Adventure Yurt - Explore Vermont's Catamount Trail

If you're into backcountry exploring & doing things on skis, snow-shoes or mountain bikes, our yurt is a fabulous jumping off point for you. Situated a stone's throw from Section 17 of the Catamount Trail, VT's end-to-end x-country ski trail, you will discover both moderate and advanced adventures here. Rugged but cozy, our yurt warms up quickly thanks to its resident "Aspen" wood stove. Add a charming outhouse, farm pump, deck & picnic table to the picture, and you'll be camping in style.

ADK Saddle Hill Site 4

Site 4 is the last site. It is next to site 3 but quite a distance away so it still offers privacy. Mountain views. Hayfield views. Sunsets. Solar light in the outhouse. Picnic table, fire ring and two ADK chairs. Best for rv’s and tents The water spigot is to the left of the big brown metal garage behind the grey horse trailer. Pull up to the building for easy access. Please keep your dogs leashed at all Leave the site as you found it and take your trash. Pick up after your dogs.

Stay in the TREES and enjoy an experience like no other. Located in the northern Adirondacks close to many hiking destinations and historic Lake Placid, NY. Enjoy the wilderness and relax on the porch of your treehouse with a cup of coffee or eating a meal. After a long day of hiking you can take an outdoor heated shower and toast marshmallows by the fire pit! Inside you can play cards, read some Adirondack ghost stories, and get some sleep in the queen sized bed in the loft.

Get back to nature! This is a quite riverside primitive campsite. NO BATHROOMS so everything is natural. Come let the tranquil noise of our river lul you to sleep in the fresh Adirondack mountain air. Lots of hiking, boating, rock climbing and mountain biking near by. Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid ( home of two winter Olympics) for some of the Adirondacks best restaurants and tourist destination. There are NO trash facilities on site, so if you pack it in, pack it out!

Rentals are Saturday to Saturday from the last Saturday in June to Labor Day weekend.
