Boulby Grange Farmhouse Cottage.

Cosy quirky 1 bedroom holiday cottage with stunning views of the sea with own garden & log burner. NB .. the bedroom is in the eaves so limited head room & accessed by reasonably narrow staircase/shower room is downstairs (therefore not suitable to elderly or tall people due to the limited headroom / due to size of the bedroom it is only a double bed). Situated on the Cleveland Way this is a perfect spot for walking & within walking distance to the lovely harbour village of Staithes (25 mins)

The Boiling House, Beckside

Boiling House is a truly unique, beck side property located in Staithes. The original building has been an integral part of village fishing heritage for many years. Where the log burner now sits, the original boiling tanks sat, a real piece of history. It benefits from double height ceilings, to create a real feeling of space, and is split level with only three steps between floors. As the only property in the village with french doors opening onto the beck side, it really is a place to savour.

We have a great south facing veranda with amazing views. The cottage faces south with views right across the bay. Bedding and towels provided. Situated on a pedestrianised cobbled street, the cottage is a stones throw away from the the beach, harbour, river and High St and a mere 30 second walk to pubs, cafes and art galleries. Wake to stunning views and take an early walk along the sand as waves lap on the sandy shore. Enjoy breakfast or brunch at one of the seafront cafés before browsing the unique shops. At the end of the day, ride the historic cliff lift back toward the apartment to unwind in the deep roll top bath before falling asleep between cool linen sheets.

With a small enclosed courtyard and an open-plan living space as well as private parking, Woodland Lodge is the perfect base in which to relax after a day of exploring this fantastic coastal area. Staithes Beck runs alongside the site with its own waterfall and wildlife. It also offers bicycle storage, and an outside tap.

Sleeps 2 The cottage used to be the communal bakery where the womenfolk would bring their dough to be baked You will find yourself immersed in the history of this quaint old village once home to Captain James Cook, artist Dame Laura Knight, and countless smugglers.
