The location is the stunning South Arm Peninsula offering many coastal trails, beaches, and a key site for viewing the Aurora Australis. Easy access to Hobart (40mins) and the Airport (30ms).

This classic Tasmanian shack has been thoughtfully renovated to take full advantage of its spectacular location – perched overlooking Pirates Bay, only 150m from the beach. With one of Tasmania’s most stunning bays just across the road, your gaze will skip endlessly between the swell lines and the dramatic coastline beyond. Flotsam has two fabulous fully self-contained studios, right at the entrance to the Tasman Peninsula. Each has their own private surroundings and fantastic views. We are about 30 mins due east of Hobart Airport. It's ideal for one-night stays, but, if time permitting, treat yourself to a few days so you can explore this incredible area which is all within easy reach. The Studios are well-designed and modern, and have lovely touches which will make your stay very comfortable and special.

Dreamview Cottage

A charming, cosy cottage, Dreamview is your perfect place to relax by the sea. All day sun and the best location in White Beach. This stunning 2.6 k stretch of sand is right on your doorstep. Be lulled by the waves as you drift off to sleep at night. Relax with a book on the deck, or cook up a storm in the compact well appointed kitchen. A great location to explore the many delights of the Tasman Peninsula. Bedrooms have been recently fitted with quality linen and cosy throws.

Experience the feeling of calm when you turn onto the winding private road that takes you to The Hide. Surrounded by forest, and set on the waterfront, the Hide provides an elegant refuge for couples. In a national park like setting and situated centrally, it is the perfect base for exploring popular Bruny Island. With so much to do on the property, as well as wider afield, we recommend a 2-3 night stay if you can fit it into your schedule.

Fully self contained, the cottage is all yours to enjoy. You’ll meet the friendly wild life as you explore the surrounding bush land. On day two, why not book the private cedar outdoor Hot tub!

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Welcome to the beautiful east coast of Bruny Island, where contentment and connection awaits. From The Joneses, a mid century style home originally built by Mr L Jones and reimagined in 2023 to become a luxurious escape for couples or solo travellers, you will have uninterrupted views of the azure waters of Adventure Bay and across to Penguin Island and Fluted Cape.
