The best views of the city, very popular with youths at night. You can drive, walk or take the cable car to the top of the hill.
Mount Lycabettus, also known as Lycabettos, Lykabettos or Lykavittos, is a Cretaceous limestone hill in the Greek capital Athens. At 300 meters above sea level, its summit is the highest point in Athens and pine trees cover its base. You can enjoy a sunset and a panoramic view of Athens.
From the top of Lycabettus hill you will enjoy the astonishing 360° views from Athens' highest and most central point. Especially late in the afternoon you can take in the sight of the sun setting over the city and sea. It is a unique experience not to be missed. Arrive at the top of the hill via the funicular railway or by walking or driving.
