A very favorite restaurant among the locals is "Cardamom". European cuisine, careful dishes, and fast service. It's located next to the central square of Kalamata. You will definitely be satisfied!

Located near Kalamata’s railway station, Kardamo Edesmopoleio is a lovely restaurant operating since 2010 with a mission to offer its customers with unassuming yet authentic Greek dishes created with fresh local ingredients. You will find traditional dishes, though somewhat refined and revisited with newfound flavours. You will surely have a nice time dining (or lunching) here.

"Kardamo" (at central square of Kalamata) is our first choice to have lunch or dinner!! You can taste traditional flavors as well as special recipes..all of them are delicious. The wine is very good...and the service is excellent! The place is very nice and modern.. After the dinner/ lunch they offer dessert! Tip: We suggest you to try (pastitsio) and chesseballs with orange jam!!!

It's a very good choise for real and good greek cuisine. Try the "kotsi" dish or "meze". Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Fast service and economic. Ideal for families and for all the ages!
