Tala game reserve gives you the opportunity to see some of the indigenous animals in their natural environment. Also has great picnic spots and swimming pools.
Plenty of Wild Life to be seen eg. Rhino, Hippo's, Giraffe, Wildebees, Warthog , Ostrich , Injala , Impala and Hot Air Ballooning on request.
Lovely place to spend the day driving around the game farm and you can take a picnic and spend it around their outdoor picnic/pool area which has lovely shaded spots and concrete braais. The picnic spot is situated close to a waterhole as well. There is a surcharge per vehicle and per person.
Tala is a wildlife sanctuary spanning over 3000 hectares and incorporating many diverse natural environments, the reserve features over 380 bird species, with big game that includes kudu, hippo, giraffe and eland.
A small game reserve but you will see at least a good amount of game - rhino, hippo, giraffe, antelope, zebra & plenty of game. The restaurant is pricey but good for refreshments.

“Enjoy a 1 hour game drive through the park with lion feedings taking place at irregular intervals. The park is home to Lion, African Elephant, Asian Elephant, Impala, Nyala, Grey Duiker, Porcupine, Bush Pig, Kudu, Vervet Monkey, Bush Babies, Cane Rat, Black Backed Jackal, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest and Leopard. The self driven game drive consists of a seven kilometre loop around the park with entrance fees ranging from R150 per car with not more than 7 people to R220 for a large bus.”
