One of Europe's largest castles! The Royal Palace is H.M. The royal official residence with over 600 rooms. The castle is open to the public and offers no less than five museums. The castle is largely built in the 17th century in Italian Baroque style, built in the same place as the castle "Tre Kronor", which burned down in 1697. The royal castle. This is not where the royal family lives now a days, but they used to and the castle is in use when there are importent events such as weddings and international visits.
