Beloved in our community is the delicious Tuk-Tuk food truck. Hawaii is well known for its food truck industry. Tuk-Tuk has great dishes including locally-sourced Papaya Salad and dishes with pineapple and mango. Moderately priced, this is a great choice for pick-up on your way home from visiting the Park. Tuk-Tuk can be found on the frontage road for the Highway in front of Volcano Inn.

The Tuk-Tuk Thai Food truck parks at the Cooper (Community) Center on Wright Road, Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You can call or text them to order, or just drive over, then, after ordering, hang out, while they prepare your food. You could sit at one of the picnic tables near the truck or take your order 'home' to the cottage. PLEASE NOTE: The google-map address, for the Cooper Community Center on Wright Road, places it in Mt. View and has the zip code as 96771; those are incorrect; the Cooper Center is in Volcano Village, and the zip code is 96785. The google-map points to the correct location and includes the correct physical address number on Wright Road, however.
