Open only in summer, it brings together the best of both worlds, as if the feeling of "seaside" on the shore of the lake would meet the hot life of the crowded city.

Amazing bar/restaurant right on Herastrau lake. This place is built more as a pier than a terrace, has gorgeous views, and great drinks and food. Definitely check it out in the summer months.
