It is an undersea cave of untold beauty, which is among the three most beautiful lake_caves of the world. It is used for tourist purposes with a 3,100-meter walk-through section, passing through land and sea sections, with a lot of arches and thalamus. It features an impressive inside_decoration of stalactites and stalagmites that form imposing columns. The tour is circular and its marine section, 2.800 meters long, is exclusively given by boats. The exploration of the cave began in 1949 and until to date has been explored an area of more than 10,000 square meters. The Cave of Glyfada Diros is the largest and most famous cave in Greece.
