The first winery in Sauternes who is part of the 1855 classification and became certified in organic viticulture. Chateau Guiraud is a lovely visit, they speak good English and you can see the wonderful work they've done with biodiversity and organics. They also have a very nice restaurant, La Chapelle, at the property. They are open every day of the year, we recommend you to reserve your visit in advance!

The producer of our favourite local wine. The First Grand Cru château in Sauterne and certified organic where many sustainable projects are going on. They run very informative tasting courses, and their restaurant is very good, too.

Vous cherchiez un restaurant à Sauternes ? N'hésitez pas à vous rendre à La Chapelle du Château Guiraud, le 1er restaurant dans un 1er Grand cru classé. Formule à 25€ le midi. Prolonger et sublimer « l'expérience Guiraud » autour de la nouvelle table de Nicolas Lascombes. Un esprit bistrot, une cuisine de saison et de terroir au sein de ce que le château a de plus sacrée… sa chapelle !
