Nice walks, water sports, bike hire all from the visitor centre. Cafe and ice cream shop also available there.

Lots of walking trails to enjoy including one that takes you to a waterfall at the opposite end to the dam. There are also activities to try on the lake from Bethania Adventures on the lake side. There’s a cafe and Lake Vrynwy hotel which serve food and drinks.

A lovely reservoir, with a dam you can drive/walk over. There is a cafe there, lots of walks and cycling routes and an RSPB bird reserve with bird hide. Where to eat - Artisans cafe is at the dam end of the reservoir. The Lake Vyrnwy Hotel is a good choice for a special treat.
