This park has everything. Big playground, cafes everywhere (but they close early), the river (perfect so the little kids can swim here without worrying about big waves), the public pool, and they often organise festivals here.

Cotton Tree is a perfectly calm water paddle spot for young children. The daring can venture, just around past the caravan park you'll find the sandbags. Check for high tide and launch with the local kids if you dare. Fish and chips from the little cafe when you're finished, or walk across the road to a choice of cafes. Grab an awesome fresh juice from Mojo's.

A lovely spot with still water and cafes and two great playgrounds. Try the fish and chips at the takeaway window at The Boat Shed restaurant.
