You can take a ferry from Alghero port or drive to Capocaccia and go down the 654 steps of the "Escala del Cabirol", going back up can be challenging but the view is worth the effort.

Beautiful underground caves,not to be missed if anything for the nice boat trip or a visit to the local area of Capocaccia,if walking...mind the steps......hundreds of them to walk all the way down
