Grab the train ( Renfe cercanias) in Passeig de Gracia, towards San Celoni... get off at Santa Maria de Palautordera station, there will be a bus waiting for you ( Sagalès) and visit one of the most traditionals little towns of Catalunya, in the most authentic way... Eat a nice Butifarra ( catalan home made saussage) then go walking all the way up the hill to the castle... And you though only Canadà had nice forest? you are soooo wrong.

This natural park is the oldest in Catalonia and is also one of the most important, declared by Unesco Biosphere Reserve 1978.

this is a wonderful place to get out of the cit and be in the middle of nature. It is accesible by both car and public transport..
