All Silver River tours are operated deep with the darkest and most convenient parts of the gold rated Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve, the largest dark sky reserve in the world and the first one with gold status. Operating on private land that expands over 25,000 acres (2 x the size of Manhattan!) we are thrilled to share our incredible place to explore our magnificent universe. The stargazing locations offer 360 degree views and little light pollution. You'd be hard stretched to find a better place to look at the stars - unless of course, you're an astronaut.
