One of my fav restaurants in the city. A bit pricey, but service and food are on point. On Sunday's they do "buck a shuck" oysters (the price has gone up to $1.50 now but "buck a shuck" has a nicer ring than "buck fifty a shuck")
The Hintonurg area/ Wellington street are quickly becoming the foodie hotpot of the city. Supply and Demand are creative, cool and unpretentious. Always packed, make sure to get a reservation!
Great restaurant and bar in Wellington West. They also do 1/2 price bottles of bubbly and buck-a-shuck oysters on Sundays!
Stylish venue with an open kitchen, raw bar & rotating menu of creative, locally sourced cuisine.
“Fresh selection of breads and pastries. Delicious soup, salad, and sandwich options. One of the best breakfast and lunch spots in Ottawa (and best place for flaky croissants!) Hard to find a table on weekends as they get very busy for brunch, try to get there before 10am. Sourdough pizza served in the evening. ”
“Menu changes daily and food is always solid. Nice selection of beers and wine and warm friendly service.”
“My absolute favourite restaurant and bar. It used to be a seedy hole in the wall but the owners of Whalesbone (another incredible restaurant you should check out) flipped it into one of the most chill restaurants in the city. Fantastic food, great drinks, and best of all: the oysters are the best in the city.”
“Cute women's boutique with a nice selection of feminine staples and a permanent vintage pop-up on the second floor. ”
