Really nice hike. Has more shade than some other trails out there. There's a small creek to cross and these quaint, small houses along the way. The bonus is the small waterfall at the end (when we're not in a drought). There's also a cafe above the parking lot that has good burgers. Maybe they're only really good because we're famished after the hike.

It's Pasadena's most beloved trail for a reason! 1.5 miles each way, the hike is suitable for all ages and rewards you with a waterfall at the mid-point! It's sunny, so wear your hat/SPF/sunglasses & bring water! And enjoy the desert foliage & scenic walk. Free parking and a small gift shop/nature center. www.ecnca.org for more info
