If you are a sweet & savory combo eater, please love yourself and take the time to check out Screen Door. The chicken & waffle combo is magical. It takes us discipline to not eat there 3 times a week since it's less than a 7 minute drive away.

This is a wonderful place to eat breakfast and lunch on East Burnside! They serve waffles, fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, great salads and fruit dishes. It is our "binge" place, but also one of the best spots for salad and fruit. Their southern U.S. cuisine is also served at dinner time. Reservations are recommended.

Southern food at it's best! Always busy because it's delicious, but worth the wait for the fried chicken, biscuits, greens and pies. Psst ... they do takeout as well.
