The Grapevine is right across the street from Gruene Hall. It is a quaint tasting room for local wines and craft beer, plus live music in a tree-shaded area with tables. Be sure to pop into the General Store that is next door. It's like stepping back in time.

While not an actual winery, don’t leave Gruene without visiting the Grapevine. It is a tasting room and bar in the Gruene Historic district featuring one of the largest selection of Texas wines available in the state. Get a cheese and sausage plate as well, and if they have live music, enjoy your wine in the back garden.
