Visitors can view seabird and sea turtle rehabilitation, get hands-on in a teaching lab, and explore exhibit galleries and a nature trail that illustrate the story of marine life in Volusia County.

Educational exhibits next to the historic lighthouse. Variety of fish & birds. Friendly staff and affordable. Sea turtles are rehabilitated here and returned to local ocean which can be viewed by visitors as it happens. Usually open 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Learning center with exhibits, aquariums, gift shop

Learn about sea life and how the Marine Science Center helps animals in need! They have a shark tank where you can PET sharks and sting rays! It is located within walking distance of the lighthouse! Makes for a fun day!

If you have little ones, be sure to take them to the Marine Science Center, where they can touch stingrays and look at turtles (from an observation window) that are being rehabilitated.
