Known for its sunrise views over the open Atlantic, Nauset Beach is a broad stretch of sand lined by steep dunes. During the summer season, surfers, sunbathers and fishermen flock to Nauset Beach’s ten-mile stretch of sand known for its big waves, chilly waters, and large sand dunes. In summer, the beach has lifeguards, restrooms, showers, snacks and equipment rentals. As an extra incentive, four-wheel drive vehicles with permits are allowed on Nauset beach.

“Gorgeous and amazing ocean waves but watch out for the sharks!! We recommend swimming close to shore and only at low tide. Go early if you want a spot in the lot. Food trucks and bathrooms make this a great day.”
