Litchfield National Park
This park is close to Darwin and has some of the best waterfalls around. Easily doable in a day, yet why not stay longer at the local Litchfield Tourist Park or the Butterfly Farm in Batchelor.

Litchfield National Park has some great safe swimming water holes at Bulli Rock Holes and Wangai falls.Wangai has a lovely grassed area amongst trees and is a definite must.You can swim at Florence Falls too but beware there is a lot of steps to down and then come back up again after
