The segway tours are surprisingly popular. You need to book this in advance. I've never done it myself, so I'm not sure what all the hubub is about, but when I see people cruising around town on those things, they always look like they're having a blast.

Probably the most fun way to explore Mt. Dora! Via Segway! Zip around downtown on a fun guided tour while receiving the historical backstory of different points of interest.
