dOCUMENTA location, it's a huge park with water and lots of open space to hang around, enjoy the summer time in Kassel. There is also a restaurant at Orangerie.

A big baroque park near city centre. You can sit on the lawn in front of orangerie and eat bread and cheese or take a looooong walk through the gardens. On the south end of this park there is a small island calles 'Siebenbergen' 'Seven mountains' they charge you a few euros to get in, but you are rewarded with a great view, surrounded by gorgeous flowers and curious peacocks.
