great vegan traditional Chinese in Chinatown Oakland. reasonable prices. see monks and other cool people as well as Chinese families from the hood.

For my veggie-loving guests, I'm told (by other veggie-loving guests), that this is good Asian style food in Oakland's own Chinatown. Other good veggie/vegan options include the Golden Lotus on 13th and Franklin in Oakland. There's also the Herbivore or Chaya in Berkeley. See Google for menus, locations, and hours.

This place has excellent vegetarian Chinese food. I recommend the potstickers.... so delish!

Delicious vegetarian Chinese food. Their lunch special is a great deal at under $10 for soup, entree, and side.
