Lovely atmosphere, great food, and great service. Its best to make a reservation and for a special occasion, they will sometimes print the name of the guest on the menu! Small details really make it a unique experience.

On my 'shortlist' of favorite places to meet friends for a drink and some appetizers in the bar. Piatti is an Italian trattoria with the most delicious dipping oil/spices and bread you will ever have. Open kitchens, stone hearth pizzas, plus an elegant and delicious menu you can have either in the bar or restaurant.

Piatti's is a great restaurant in Danville (next to San Ramon) which offers awesome food and atmosphere. They serve hot fresh bread with balsamic dip while you wait for your food. This bread is the best. Must have.
