If you are serious about good food go to Jacob's Inn. Popular gastro pub in a village setting on the edge of Oxford.

Lovely pub with restaurant. Food is served all day and there is a good garden here. Also dog friendly.

Super cute pub with a lovely garden in Wolvercote, right by Port Meadow. The garden has goats and chickens in and the food is reliably tasty.
