Venice Underground is a very strong, long-running underground comedy night at Townhouse every Wednesday. The show is wildly experimental and they often have major international comedians gracing the stage. The venue also books excellent musical acts. Right after the comedy show, the Bootleg Bombshells perform—some of the best burlesque dancers Hollywood has to offer. Get there early—the show is free so seats fill up quickly.

If you are into a wild night, a definitely must go! two stories, old venice hangout. Only 3 minutes walking distance to where you are staying!

One is the oldest venues in LA and a Venice must with a good happy hour, and often live performances downstairs. Great at happy hour or before the sun sets. Check out their website for schedule!

Closest spot near us for a dance party. Speak easy underground vibe, can get touristy though.

Venice's oldest bar (est. in 1915), also known as the Del Monte Speakeasy. Both upstairs and down, the bartenders can get you a basic whiskey on the rocks or shake up a classic cocktail.
