Not much in the way of waves, but great for wading and sunning. Super chill beach on the Sakonnet river. The bay is popular for windsurfers and kiteboarders because the cove across from the beach is one of the windiest spots in Rhode Island.

Fogland beach provides swimming/windsurfing, a beautiful view of the Sakonnet River and convenient for nature study. Amenities include changing rooms, showers, picnic tables and children's playground

Windsurfing, lifeguards, parking fees for non-residents. Cove area is excellent for nature study. Toilet facilities, showers, and a playground.
