Der Potsdamer Platz ist ein Verkehrsknoten in den Ortsteilen Mitte und Tiergarten zwischen der alten Innenstadt im Osten und dem neuen Berliner Westen. Als Doppelplatzanlage schließt er sich westlich an den Leipziger Platz an und liegt direkt vor dem ehemaligen Potsdamer Stadttor.
The modern Potsdamer Platz is worth to see for its unique architecture. There are many Cafes and Restaurants. The site has a lot of history. Go up to the Panorama Viewpoint just across the street and see the documentation around the obnservation platform.

After reunification, Potsdamer Platz, which was part of the Wall during the division, became the largest construction site in Europe. Today there is a new district with futuristic skyscrapers, cafes and shopping arcades.
