Seljavallalaug is one of the oldest geothermal pool in Iceland, built 1923. The pool is 25m long and about 10m wide. The water comes from a natural hot spring in the area. There is no entrance fee and the original very primitive dressing rooms are still there for use. There are no showers and you need to bring a towel. About a 10 - 15 min hike from where you park your car.

An old swimming pool, that is the mountain on one site, with running hot water from the mountain. Just amazing, with the glaciers on one site. Need to have on good hiking shoes, as you walk a path.
