A little more upscale but delicious. Quaint bar on the first floor if Brine and Paddle in bars are too noisy for you.

This is one of our favorites. Ceia's wine list is award winning, and you will feel transported to Europe. The chef cooks from Portuguese, Italian, French and Spanish tradition, and the space is more intimate than some of Newburyport's larger establishments. Ceia is sister to Brine Oyster, Crudo and Chops, across the street. It is equally as excellent.

Ceia celebrates their dining heritage with flavors of coastal Portugal, France, Spain and France. Great ambiance with a modern and romantic feel.
