One of the oldest restaurants in Dubai serving traditional Iranian cuisine. Great food, atmosphere, the owners interact with the guests and they have a curious display of ancient mobile phones, currencies from around the world and pictures with their customers and famous diners.

This is a hidden gem and one my personal all time favorite kebab shop since I was a child. Not many tourists know of this place. Its not fancy but their meet with yogurt skewers are out of this world! It takes 30 mins to reach by car. You can see pictures on the walls of local celebrities and royal family members who have dined there.

Iconic Dubai restaurant serving incredible but simple kebabs, curries and rice dishes. This is a casual family-owned restaurant that has been busy with Dubai residents for 40 years now. The walls are covered with photos of international, regional and local celebrities who have visited the place. The brothers who own the restaurant come from southern Iran & are always behind the cash register or running around - you will know them by how they are constantly joking/messing with customers. Their most popular menu item is the Beef Yoghurt Tikka skewers. Special tip: ask for the Tahdeeg with Meat Curry. It's not on the menu and they are picky about who they gave it to, but it's worth asking!
