The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen (TWNF) exists to encourage the understanding, appreciation and conservation of the natural resources of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Central Virginia. TWNF facilitates research and education for its members and visitors, and will serve as a host site for regional, national, and international conservation efforts. Hiking maps and trail maps may be obtained from TWNF's home base, the Trillium House at Wintergreen. Robin's Nook at Trillium House offers quiet play and resources for families to spend time together with stories, puzzles and games.

This is a fun place to visit for the kids. You can purchase a $3 hiking map here, find out what wildlife has been recently spotted on The Mountain, and browse the nice shop.
