A short drive in any direction offers 4-season outdoor recreation with nearby mountains, lakes and rivers, plus dining, culture, and entertainment options abound.

Sapling Yurt

A short walk through the garden brings guests to this backyard yurt which was handcrafted on a New Hampshire family farm out of many species of local saplings. The handmade door and large skylight let in lots of natural light; you'll rise and set with the sun and watch the stars from the full-size bed. Two small single-sized floor mattresses fold up to make low chairs. A counter, fridge, and sink allow guests to make simple meals.

Lovely Apartment in Thornton

Quaint one bedroom with loft nestled in the White Mountain National Forest this getaway is both unique and convenient. Guests will have access to a private entrance and patio area, with a grill that will be available for use.
