This 1970 Bluebird Schoolbus has been converted into a comfortable and whimsical living space. The rear connects to a new addition with a bathroom, livingroom, and sleeping loft for one adult or two kids. It is on one fenced acre in the hill country and has its own private driveway. The patio has nice cozy chairs and your choice of a propane or charcoal grill. The Sheep Camp Bus is a 1951 School bus converted to a sheep camp by our Great Uncles in the 60's. Newly renovated, it provides a unique, temperature controlled place to stay so you can focus on your daily adventures. A vinyl covered mattress is provided for sleeping, (bring bedding), table, A/C, and heat for comfort. Mini fridge, microwave, power, and bbq are provided.

The MidKnight Bus~Trout Creek, Petting Zoo

Visitors will leave the hustle and bustle of reality behind as they cross a wooden bridge and step onto grounds reminiscent of some of the world’s most well-loved fairytales and stories. Guests will be charmed by the quirky Scottish double-decker bus many magical guests would expect to see zipping through tight spaces and stopping to rescue wizards and witches in a pinch.   We also have a petting zoo and certified trout creek on the property. Nestled on 4 acres and located in the heart of Waterloo recreation area, this 280sq ft skoolie boasts comfort and eclectic energy! Sure to please the outdoor enthusiast, the property is surrounded by public land with the Pinckney Waterloo Trail crossing at the end of our driveway, and several nearby lakes. Located 30 minutes to Ann Arbor, 15 minutes to downtown Chelsea which offers plenty of great eats and drinks, 20 minutes to downtown Jackson, 10 minutes to Sandhill crane winery.

Stay on a farm animal rescue in a 38’ yellow school bus conversion. If you are interested we also host an Airbnb Experience called Life With Farm Animals At Rancho Roben Rescues where you get a 90-120 minute up close encounter with all of the animals - taking time to learn about each of the unique creatures that lives here and the opportunity to interact with them directly. Pet a chicken, groom a pony, feed a goat, take a walk patrolling the fields with our livestock guardian dogs.
