This was a fantastic experience. Starting with the exciting funicular ride up to Floyen where there are panoramic views of Bergen and the start of the walk. The walk itself was just over an hour each way through beautiful forest and overland until we reached Benjamin's hidden, cosy cabin. We were made to feel at home with hot chocolate and a cosy wood fire accompanied by comfortable conversation. It was our first day in Norway and a real treat to be able to ask questions and get lots of tips and suggestions. Benjamin was a great host combining the perfect mix of professionalism, friendliness and hospitality. Highly recommend!

Due to recent bad weather in Bergen, the trail was cut off by fallen trees in multiple places, however Benjamin was an excellent host and knew how to get around fairly easily around any obstacles. The cabin at the top is really cozy and makes for an excellent resting spot before the descent back to the city.

You would need a moderate ampunt of fitness I would say for this hike.

A magical little Bergen experience! This was an excellent hike and a glimpse into how astonishingly beautiful the Norwegian landscape can be.
Benjamin is a tremendously kind, knowledgeable guide, and the company and conversation were fantastic! The cabin is a place put together with a lot of love and care, and it was a great privilege to be welcomed and hosted there; crackling fire, cookies, and all.
We did experience perhaps all the seasons in one morning, so bring good, grippy shoes!
