Otematata is little town with easy access to lakes Benmore, Aviemore and Waitaki ,a short walk through stunning wetlands to the lake for fishing and swimming. It has an abundance of walking and cycling trails, a country Golf Club, Bowling club and A2O Cycle trail. A fully stocked On the Spot shop, park for the kids & tennis court is at walking distance from the apartment.

Otematata's population is 200, swelling to 5000 in summer. It is on the road between Oamaru & Omarama.

Twizel, Oahu skifeld, and the well known wrinkly ram in omarama 20 minutes away
