Beach Cabin - Kowhai Landing

Summer or winter, sunny Kowhai Landing is the perfect couples retreat. Romantic, private, and oh-so-close to the beach - you'll leave this place rejuvenated and relaxed. A classic Kiwi cabin in a town that still feels like the beach places of old, this small but practical layout has a kitchenette and ensuite. In addition, there is a large private BBQ deck, hot outdoor shower, and bath. With no wifi or TV, this is a place to get away from it all. Powered Caravan site by appointment only.

The Fifth Room

Easy walk to Jackson St shops, cafés and restaurants. Petone Beach and Railway Station within a 10min walk. Percy's reserve and walking tracks close by. Wellington city a 10 min drive (off peak). The InterIslander Ferry is a less than ten minute drive off peak. Perfect to catch an early morning Ferry, or late afternoon disembark. Supermarkets, specialty stores, cinema and pharmacies. Petone pretty much has it all including a Kmart which is quite literally at the end of the street.

Cosy Cabin by The Trail

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This brand new cosy cabin is nestled in the heart of Muri Road, just a stone's throw away from Te Araroa Trail. This rural cabin is quiet & the ideal location to chill out and enjoy a relaxing weekend. Only a ten minute walk to the stunning beaches in Pukerua Bay. This is the perfect space for chilling out and unwinding after tackling Te Araroa Escarpment Track. Take your time and relax before embarking on your onward journey.

Parangarehu - Ahi Kā

We’ve named the first pourewa ‘Ahi Kā’ (people of the land keeping the fires burning) because the deeper purpose of Parangarehu lies in reconnecting the next generation with their whenua (land) by working on it through either conservation, tourism, and hospitality so, it’s not just a business it's a legacy project for our whānau.” Parangarehu is a special place, and we’ve always felt deeply connected to its mōuri (lifeforce). We’re excited for others to experience it too.”

Time out in our castle turret

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This wee slice of paradise is about 10 minutes walk from our home on a 6 acre lifestyle block. We saved three ‘turrets’ from a local castle and have created a space away from the trappings of modern life (including electricity and cell coverage!) and our creek amongst our sheep, chickens and ducks. This space is ideal for two with a double bed, gas cooking as well as a pot belly stove and a seperate camping style bathroom.

Rustic Woodman's cottage

Basic and rustic with a twist of awesome, just 900m from Carterton central. Built in 2019 this cosy, insulated and double glazed cottage has a queen bed and a small veranda to relax on. Basic facilities include a composting toilet and solar lighting. There is no electricity or cooking facilities. Full bathroom available on request. Situated on 4.5 acres, park at the main house and walk 100m. Enjoy the views east, wander through the developing gardens or head out to explore.

Palliser Ridge Retreat

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Palliser Ridge Retreat is all about being off grid and taking time out from a busy life filled with technology, hustle and bustle. The retreat is a one-bedroom cabin located amongst the native plants and made from rough sawn macrocarpa off the farm itself. Watch the sun go down with the amazing ocean views and listen to the bird life in the native bush that surrounds you.

June's Cabin

A cosy studio cabin on a quiet street with views out over Tawa and up towards Kapiti Coast. Located in Tawa, it is a 10-15 minute walk to local cafes and restaurants, plus other amenities including a supermarket and laundromat. The cabin is self contained with it's own bathroom, and a small kitchenette for your convenience. Please note the cabin is located up a flight of stairs behind the main house on the property.

Lyons Den

Take a break at our cozy sleepout, set on a small lifestyle block just minutes from shops, cafés, and stunning beaches. Surrounded by calm countryside, it’s the perfect place to wake up to birdsong, breathe fresh air, and enjoy a restful stay. From weekend escapes and midweek getaways, to ferry stopovers, this tranquil retreat offers comfort and privacy, with your space respected so you can fully relax and unwind.

The Hut

The hut is a beautifully crafted off the grid cabin located located on a sheep and beef farm, Daisybank, just minutes out of Martinborough . Open the doors right up on a nice day and enjoy the fresh air or cozy up with a blanket on the couch in front of the fire when the weather makes you want to bunker down. The outdoor bath is the icing on the cake to allow you to take in the views while relaxing in the tub

Beautiful private cottage.

Riverstone Cottage is the place to kick back and relax. Not too far from cafes and shops but the in amongst farmland, native trees, bird life, and river that will lull you to sleep. Open fire, comfy beds and tidy kitchenette and bathroom. BBQ and private courtyard. The river has swimming holes and is only accessed by owners and guests. Come and recharge your batteries and fill your soul.

Kereru cabin in Manakau

Kereru Cabin is situated on a small vineyard in Manakau between Otaki & Levin. The cabin is nestled in a private area overlooking an orchard and is separate and private from the properties home. The cabin has a rustic, cosy vibe and has everything needed for a relaxing getaway. With a small deck drenched in sun, it's perfect for that evening glass of wine to relax at the end of the day.
