Set in a cozy backyard near Solano Ave (dotted with small shops and cafes) it's an ideal location for those looking for a small town feeling close to the city. This cottage was built with the needs of our guests in mind, including in-unit private laundry. The cottage is located steps from an array of Albany/Berkeley culinary culture, cafes, shops, and markets.

Flexible set up - Choose one bed plus a futon couch or two beds for family/friend travel. Enjoy California weather in our comfy backyard. Between Solano Ave and El Cerrito Plaza, our walkable neighborhood offers delicious restaurants, a movie theater, quirky local shops and staples like Trader Joe's. Very fast wi-fi.

It is only a five-ten minute walk to BART, downtown Berkeley, UC Berkeley campus and the Gourmet Ghetto. You’ll love the location because it is nestled in a quiet neighborhood that is within walking distance of all of the amenities you'll need during your stay in Berkeley.

Our charming and quiet cottage, with its tropical garden, is less than a 10 minute walk to the North Berkeley BART Station (metro system), 3 minutes from Acme Bread and a 7 minute stroll to Headlands Brewery's Beer Garden. The indoor and covered outdoor living spaces are perfect for relaxing, fire up the BBQ, or pluck the strings of the acoustic guitar if you're so inclined.

North Berkeley Chic

The residence is a classic 1927 North Berkeley Bungalow lovingly remodeled from the foundation up leaving only the original exterior painted redwood boards while upgrading the entire interior and the Exterior ONLY will be monitored by four motion activated floodlight cameras (front, back, side and garage back door on the patio). Absolutely NO cameras indoors!!!

Our little guesthouse is completely detached from the main house and offers a quiet, comfortable and private place for work and/or relaxation. Enjoy the garden with a large patio, Adirondack chairs, umbrellas and big dining table. On site parking. Your guest quarters are located inside the same structure as our private exercise space.
